Raikkonen recovers for final day

03/03/2013

Kimi Raikkonen has recovered from the stomach bug which prevented him driving the Lotus E21 on Saturday, the penultimate day of pre-season testing.

After two days in the cockpit for Romain Grosjean, Raikkonen advised the team that he was not well enough to take over for Saturday's running. With Grosjean already on his way home, reserve driver Davide Valsecchi was called into action whilst the Frenchman was recalled to the Circuit de Catalunya.

After the lunch break Grosjean took over, the Frenchman completing 46 laps of the Spanish track, his first running in ideal conditions this week.

Whilst Raikkonen has been declared fully fit, Grosjean remains on standby.
