Today's first free practice session at Spa Francorchamps has been cancelled due to rain and fog, which meant that the official medical helicopter could not take off.

Instead, there will be one 45-minute session, which will begin at 10:15 (local time).

Those of you with good memories will remember that something similar in 2001, when race officials kept delaying the start of free practice for 15-minutes at a time, before eventually opting to run just one 45-minute session.

That was the year Luciano Burti crashed heavily at Blanchimont, Michael Schumacher going on to win the race.
