Bahrain wasn't all bad

NEWS STORY
17/03/2010

The general consensus is that the Bahrain Grand Prix was something of a let down for race fans. However, at least 5 Pitpass readers have good reason to remember the race with a smile.

Our competition saw several hundred readers correctly predict that Fernando Alonso would prove victorious first time out in a Ferrari, however, only 56 of those readers correctly forecast that 17 cars would finish the race.

Those 56 names were put into a hat and as a result, David Barron from Cork in Ireland, Frank Vreugdenhil from Australia, Francis Newman from Berkshire in the UK, Pierre Godbout from Cowansville in Canada and Chris Gilmartin from London, each receive an Amalgam 1:4 scale model of the BGP 001 steering wheel.

Congratulations to our 5 winners, commiserations to the 51 that came so close and better luck next time to the rest.

We will have another competition up and running in time for Melbourne.
